Hey, I’m Anna!
I work with adults who feel like they don’t quite fit, no matter how much they’ve tried — especially those dealing with complex trauma (C-PTSD), ADHD, or autism.
Growing up misunderstood leaves a mark. It can turn into trauma, emotionally unsafe or narcissistic relationships, and a pattern of feeling like you have to explain yourself just to be understood — even in therapy, where you somehow ended up doing more explaining than healing.
You’ll probably notice pretty quickly that I’m a more non-traditional therapist, and that I want you to show up as you actually are. So, in our work together, we focus on both your trauma and how your brain works. We go deeper than just coping, working with what’s underneath so you can understand your patterns, process what you’ve been through, and stop feeling like you’re too much or not enough at the same time.
I draw from trauma-informed work, IFS/parts-based approaches, play and art therapy, and experiential methods — and if it resonates with you, symbolic approaches like tarot.
You might have tried therapy before and left feeling like it didn’t quite fit. Or maybe you’ve avoided it altogether because the idea of having to explain yourself again just feels exhausting.
It’s not that something is wrong with you. You were trying to make something work that was never built for you.
